He hunts for casks, tastes and sources casks in these remote cellars, and selects, together with the producers, those that have the most to say. The casks that express the taste of Armagnac and all its aromatic richness, the casks that convey the history of the estate, the casks that tell the story of the terroir and the vines. With its militant mobile bottling vessel, LE PASSEUR comes to bottle, label, etc… directly on the estates, and thus enables producers to add value to their stock directly, while relieving them of the logistical constraints they cannot cope with. At the other end of the chain, LE PASSEUR gives spirits enthusiasts access to those unique, full-bodied, never-before-tasted Armagnacs that were previously inaccessible. He is an Armagnac smuggler. LE PASSEUR is as close as possible to its raw materials, bottling single casks, with no alcoholic reduction, no added sugar or coloring, and no chill filtering.
